Traveling on Koh Samui
Taxi
Car taxis are available almost anywhere on the island and can take you to most places. Make sure to agree on the price before departing as meters are barely used.
Motorbike Taxi
Motorbike taxis are often located near major resorts and businesses. Again, make sure that the price is agreed on before departing.
Song Tiew
Trucks (or utes) with bench seats and a covered area on the back for people to sit are the most common form of public transport on the island and cheaper than taxis. They only travel set routes covering most of the island.
Vehicle Rentals
If taxis are not your thing, then a variety of vehicles can be rented.
